No competition

There is huge number of board-, miniature- and cardgamers around the world. Currently the most effective ways to find new players or events are the more traditional methods, such as asking friends, calling, texting, asking around in dedicated stores, facebook groups and forums. Gamers United the app is the first dedicated solution providing these functions. Compared to the current methods our app significantly saves time and provides almost every function just one click away. Finding players, groups or events nearby has never been fun... until now!

Expandability

The app has very high exbandability. You can expand the app to serve almost any social event or gathering you can think of. Think about sports. It could be used to plan a game of golf amongst your friends, or to search for someone to join your weekly saturday round on your favourite golf course. Think about different social gatherings from knitting groups to RC clubs.

Official partnerships

We have one gamestore chain in Finland already as official partners. A few are more are underway. When the app is released and on the markets we are kick in the gear. We will be contacting most of the big companies in the tabletop game industry. It would be a huge benefit for us if we can get even one official partner with a deal where they add an advert of the app for every box/pack they sell. Keep in mind that we have no competition. The app can benefit the manufacturers and retailers since more merchandice gets sold when more games are played.

Not just for gamers

We also have a plan for the future. After the launch of the app (which concentrates on the gamers needs) we will be adding a commercial side to the app. This means that shops, stores, manufacturers and magazines can create their own "official" profile. They will have a chance to list items they are selling and for example the people are able to search for the nearest retailer that sells Nintendo 8-bit items. Stores and shops can promote their on-sale items and so on. There are plenty of ideas for the future.

The trend and the potential

As most of you know the trend is to move everything into mobile apps. Most of the mobile apps only have a function or two. Usually it is their strenght but also their downfall since they don´t fulfill the users needs completely. Now we want to be in the frontline to bring bigger and more complete solutions wherever you go. To summarize: you have millions of tabletop gamers around the world. In the social app section for tabletop gamers we have no competition. There is a possibility for big official partnerships. Then the exbandability to almost any area that has something to do with social gatherings. Now include the commercial side to this whole picture. The potential the idea has, clarified to us when we were doing the backround research for this and hopefully with your help we can fulfill it.
